We are all cups. Made for holding. made for serving. Made for enjoying, made for transporting. We are all cups to be filled to overflow into other cups, filling the other cups to overflow.
But as cups we have chips and cracks and shatters and stains and missing handles. sometimes we are left in the cupboard and never used, forgotten about. With cracks in our cups we can hold less. We leak strangely. When drunk from we spill and go everywhere. Our cup can be thrown out, or sometimes we try to use sticky tape or glue to just patch the break.
God isn’t in the patching business.
God is in the business of redemption. Completion.
What in the world could God not redeem completely?
What in the world has not been redeemed outside of our choice?
